Since 2011 Catch of the Day has worked pro deo for the Health Promoters. This organisation provides people in townships in South Africa with health and hygiene education. Patron of the Health Promoters was Nobel Prize Laureate Desmond Tutu who sadly passed away in December 2021. In 2012 dr h.c. Harold Robles, co-founder of the Health Promoters, invited Tutu to visit the Netherlands. At the time Catch of the Day and Intervolvement coordinated all media contacts for the archbishop, including a monumental interview with Twan Huys for College Tour. We toured the Netherlands with the inspirational Tutu, to Deventer, Enschede, Groningen and The Hague. More recently Regina Eggink has organised several golf events, Golf4Health. Dozens of Dutch celebrities cooperate selflessly to this successful annual event.
